The Patriarch welcomes Guests present in the Diocese
Also this year His Eminence, the Patriarch of Venice Cardinal Angelo Scola is happy to greet all tourists who pass through or stay in our diocese for their holiday.
This year’s edition is completely new: a post-card with a welcoming message that is available in the different holiday resorts present in our diocese.
Therefore, the pictures represent the different holiday resorts present in the Patriarchate. After reading the message one can mail it as a souvenir to relatives and friends far away.
In this way the welcoming message regarding the spiritual and human values of Venice are spread all over the world.
This project was thought and realized by the Director of the two diocesan offices of the Church’s Art Heritage and Pastoral Tourism Promotion.
The Patriarch liked this idea and He himself addressed the first post-cards to the authorities and leading representatives of the community to underline how much the Church is involved in welcoming tourists.
