After the last restorations local people and visitors can have the opportunity of visiting the Palace. The masterpieces present in the palace date from the XIVth to the XVIIIth century.
Most of the works come from suppressed churches, or no longer used for worship purposes. Moreover one can also admire contemporary loans and donations.
The collection includes the splendid series by Tintoretto, life and martyrdom of St. Catherine of Alexandria belonging to the City Art Heritage; the Nativity by Gianbattista Tiepolo and others by Palma il Giovane.
It will also be possible to visit the study where the Patriarch receives private and official guests and the main halls: Tintoretto’s hall, so called because of the collection already mentioned; the banquet hall; the vestibule; the Popes’ hall and the gallery of the Patriarchs; the private chapel and the apartment used by the Patriarch Giuseppe Sarto – then Pope and St. Pius X. - He lived in this apartment form 1894 to 1903.
